Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School is known for academic excellence and service learning projects. Even from the young age of two, we begin to instill a sense of pride in giving to others.
Depending on where a class sees a need, we change our projects. Some of our outreach programs have included:
- Green Team Efforts (Recycle, Reduce, Reuse)
- Bike-a-thon – raising money for an identified need
- Operation Christmas Child
- Sock Drive/Sock it to Me Chapel associated with St. Nicholas Day
- The Heifer Project International
- Adopting needy families for Christmas
- Knitting hats for people who are homeless and cancer patients
- Bringing homemade gifts to the elderly at local nursing homes
- World Land Trust-US, an international conservation organization
- Serving lunch at Abraham’s Tent
- Eighth graders at lead chapel
- KPLC’s Community Christmas Project
- Penny Wars to raise money for Abraham’s Tent
- Pan Cam Walk
- Math-a-thon for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
- Christmas caroling to students who are ill
- Beach Sweep
- Hoops for Heart
- Support of our Troops
- Little Free Pantry/Little Free Library
