FCA

FCA
Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School is a proud member of the SWLA Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).  Students in 4th - 12th grades meet weekly for devotions that offer athletes and non-athletes a Christian perspective on how to have a positive attitude and Christian character in competition and interaction with coaches.  Students have an opportunity to lead prayer both at meetings and in activities such as "Meet you at the Pole", held annually.

Library Club

Library Club
The Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School Library Club is one of the most active clubs in our school and involves grades 5 and up. The club is dedicated to community service and promoting the library.  Community service experiences include packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, food drives, and working alongside members of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, packing groceries for the Brown Bag Food Program. The club proudly supports the Church of the Good Shepherd’s Brown Bag Food distribution program by helping to collect food and working alongside the parishioners and volunteers packing the bags. The club also takes field trips to the ROPES Course at Dry Creek Camp, and attends the Louisiana Teenage Librarians Association’s annual convention.

Student Council

Student Council
Lower School - Student Council in our lower school provides students with their first taste of serving their school and community. Lower school student council is open to students in fifth and sixth grades. Students in our lower school student council create things for the community, assist and serve the community, and serve our school and faculty as a whole. In completing various activities and acts of service, our lower school students are better equipped to take on our robust and action packed student council on the south campus.

Middle and High School - Student Council at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School is the heart of student involvement. It develops leadership skills among students, promotes school spirit and pride, builds communication with all student groups, and serves as the voice of the students.

The Student Council can lead to positive change because its activities and projects are testing grounds for ideas which can become part of the school.

Middle and High School Sponsors:  Kailyn Thibodeaux and Emily Fruge

Pop-Up Clubs

The south campus offers pop-up clubs that meet a handful of times to promote student interests.  These clubs offer less of a commitment than others, but promote individual interests for students.
