Clubs & Organizations

EDS students are involved! We offer a broad range of clubs, performance and leadership opportunities to our students and encourage them to follow their passions and try something new.

Students can choose to participate in the student body government, get involved in the community through our Green Team, Girl Scouts and so much more!

Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School is a proud member of the SWLA Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).  Students in 5th - 12th grades meet weekly for devotions that offer athletes and non-athletes a Christian perspective on how to have a positive attitude and Christian character in competition and interaction with coaches.  Students have an opportunity to lead prayer both at meetings and in activities such as "Meet you at the Pole", held annually.

Green Team - South Campus

Green Team
The Green Team is an organization of students on our South Campus who work together to make our school and community more sustainable. Each week, students collect recyclables and they are brought to the city’s recycling center. Throughout the year the Green Team sponsors guest speakers and organizes our participation in the city initiative of “Spring Clean LC”.

Library Club

Library Club
The Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School Library Club is one of the most active clubs in our school and involves grades 5 and up.  The library club is involved both in the school community and with other library clubs around the state.  Knowledge, Reading and Service are the core pieces of action that help guide the clubs activities.  The club proudly supports the Faith & Friends Food Pantry with not only school-wide food drives but work alongside Good Shepherd Episcopal Church members at the pantry monthly.   This club is unique in which it is student-led.  The sponsor guides the discussions but students set the meeting agenda, recruit help, and put their projects into motion.

Student Council

Student Council
Lower School - Student Council in our lower school provides students with their first taste of serving their school and community. Lower school student council is open to students in fifth and sixth grades. Students in our lower school student council create things for the community, assist and serve the community, and serve our school and faculty as a whole. In completing various activities and acts of service, our lower school students are better equipped to take on our robust and action packed student council on the south campus.

Middle and High School - Student Council at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School is the heart of student involvement. It develops leadership skills among students, promotes school spirit and pride, builds communication with all student groups, and serves as the voice of the students.

The Student Council can lead to positive change because its activities and projects are testing grounds for ideas which can become part of the school.

Pop-Up Clubs

The south campus offers pop-up clubs that meet a handful of times to promote student interests.  These clubs offer less of a commitment than others, but promote individual interests for students.
