Letter from the Chairman

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, welcome to Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School.

It is an honor to serve as Board Chair for a school community that is deeply committed to academic excellence, faith, character, and the growth of every child. Bishop Noland is a special place — one where students are known, challenged, supported, and inspired each day.

At the heart of our school is our Episcopal identity, which calls us to nurture not only strong minds, but also compassionate hearts and courageous character.  Our Episcopal tradition helps shape a community where students are encouraged to grow in wisdom, faith, confidence, and kindness.

As trustees, our responsibility is to steward the long-term mission and future of the school while supporting the work of our Head of School and faculty. Together, we are committed to ensuring that Bishop Noland remains a strong, vibrant, and mission-centered community for generations to come.

As our school has transformed over the years, we are grateful for the dedication of the educators, administrators, families, alumni, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, and supporters who continue to invest in its success. The strength of this community is one of our greatest blessings.

As we look ahead, the Board is excited to continue building upon the school’s foundation while thoughtfully planning for the future. Through strategic leadership, responsible stewardship, and a shared commitment to our mission, we believe the best days of Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School are still ahead.

Thank you for the trust you place in our school and for the many ways you support our students and community. We are grateful to partner with you in the important work of educating and guiding students as they grow in wisdom, character, and faith.

With gratitude,

Candace Scroggs
