Skye Williamson

Middle School Math Teacher

Welcome, my name is Skye Williamson. I am the middle school math teacher here at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School. I am originally from Lafayette but we moved here in 2010 when my husband was transferred to Lake Charles. I am passionate about math and I love when my students finally have the “aha” moment. I enjoy math and hope to instill that same passion in each of my students.

I am married to Robert, we met in high school and have been best friends ever since. We have 3 wonderful boys. Jeffrey is a freshman at McNeese State University, and Preston is a sophomore at St. Louis Catholic High. The baby of our family, Benjamin, is a second grader here at Bishop Noland. They will all be EDS alumni.

I graduated from the University of Louisiana in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics. Not long after graduating, I felt God called me to a different profession, so I returned to ULL to complete my certification to teach. I am certified in Middle School Mathematics, Social Studies, and Secondary Mathematics. This is my 7th year here at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School.

I am very busy with three active boys, but when I have free time I love to cook, work in my yard, and shop! I am very thankful for EDS, it has provided our family a home away from home!
