Savannah Havard

Middle School History Teacher

Hey, my name is Savannah Havard. I am the Middle School History teacher. I am also the Head Softball Coach at St. Louis High School. Prior to joining Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School I was a 5th Grade teacher at College Oaks Elementary. I attended Louisiana State University at Eunice on a softball scholarship. While there, we were National and Regional Champions. After two years at LSUE I transferred to Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. While at Millsaps I was an All-Conference honoree, and we were also the SAA Inaugural Champions. I graduated from Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching at Nelson Elementary last December, and I have coached at Barbe going on two years now.

I chose Bishop Noland because of the welcoming environment, and the high academic expectations. EDS reminded me a lot of the environment I was surrounded by while at Millsaps; a small, nurturing world with lifelong learners.

I love my family, friends, and the Houston Astros. I love to coach, and I survive on shopping. Besides leading as a teacher and as a high school coach, I also coach a 14u tournament softball team, the Stars and Stripes.
