Second Grade Teacher
My name is Lori Hale and I teach second grade. I graduated from McNeese State University, cum laude, in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. At McNeese, I served as President of the Chi Omega Sorority and Vice President of the Society for Human Resource Management.
After graduation, I moved to New Orleans and taught two year olds and kindergarten at Kehoe-France Day School while my husband, Taylor, attended Law School. I taught at Kehoe-France for five years before my husband and I returned home to Lake Charles in 2010. For the last four years, I have taught children as a dyslexia tutor. I really enjoy working with children and helping them to grow in the classroom.
My husband, Taylor, is an attorney. Taylor attended EDS from four year olds-eighth grade and my mother-in-law, Michele Bailey, taught at EDS for seventeen years.
We are the happy and proud parents of two children, Walker and Anna Camille. Walker is in first grade and Anna Camille is in PreK 4 at EDS. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, being on the water, and cooking.
