Kyra Williams

PE Teacher

Hi, my name is Kyra Williams, and I am the Physical Education teacher here at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School. Prior to joining EDS I was an assistant coach for the women’s soccer team at McNeese State University. I graduated from McNeese State University in 2009 with a degree in Health and Human Performance-Education while also playing on the women’s soccer team.

Currently, I am the Competitive Director of Coaching for the Calcasieu Soccer Club, and have also served on the club’s board since 2011. My husband, Logan, and I were married in 2014 and have two sons (Bryan and Carter) who both attend EDS.

In my opinion, teaching and coaching are two of the most rewarding professions in life. In this position we have the responsibility of shaping the next generation of children and producing athletes, role models, and outstanding leaders. Valuable lessons are learned everyday through sports that prepare our children for life as they grow older. I have been incredibly blessed with this opportunity to work with such remarkable children, parents, and colleagues here at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School.

I am most proud of EDS for it atmosphere that breeds success in it students AND educators. Everyone who walks through those doors is challenged everyday to be the best version of themselves, and I love it! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me, but also for this wonderful school!
