Kim Vasquez

First Grade Teacher

Hi, my name is Kimberly Vasquez. I am the new first grade teacher at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School. Prior to joining the family at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School I was an Adoption Specialist with the Office of Community Services and a Medical Social Worker for the Office of Public Health. Last school year I served as a substitute teacher here and I really got to know the kid’s, families, and faculty.

I am married to Pepe and we have two children here at EDS, Jace and Jillian. Jace is in third grade and Jillian is in first grade.

I graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Louisiana State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work.

As a parent, I have always felt that the teachers at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School genuinely loved my children and the small class sizes allow them to build confidence. I also fell in love with the nurturing environment and knew this was the best place for my children. I love spending time with my family, walking my dogs and traveling. My family and I are active members of Trinity Baptist church.
