Hey, I am Mrs. Ogea. I teach Science to all of our middle school students. After graduating from Barbe High School, I attended classes at McNeese State University and worked in the PreK 2 and 3 here at Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Biology Education. I taught Physical Science and Biology at LaGrange High School. I then joined the EDS family in 1999.

My teaching philosophy is to provide students with knowledge and a love for science/investigation in a safe, humorous, and loving environment. I want to create a classroom where students learn to be lifelong learners.

I love the family first environment at Bishop Noland. It was the reason I wanted to teach here and have my children here. I love the business of the day. Our students are like no other in the system. They want to learn - they want to be successful. Our school catapults them into success.

My husband Lonny and I have two girls that graduated from EDS. Hannah is a senior at McNeese State University majoring in biology. Emma is a senior at Barbe High School and runs track.

Besides being a leader in Science, I was also the varsity cheer sponsor here for many years. I enjoy cooking.
