Admissions Process

Step 1: The Inquiry

Once an admission inquiry is made, the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School viewbook, including curriculum guide and tuition information is sent to the family. The family is invited to tour the campus and meet with the school staff.

Step 2: The Application
The family will need to submit an application for each child in ordered to be considered for admission. An application(s) should be completed on-line at www.episcopaldayschool.org. A non-refundable assessment and application fee of $120 should be received for each student (upon enrollment the assessment fee of $100 will be applied to the registration fee).

Applications for the 2017-2018 school year may be completed on or after February 1, 2017.

Step 3: The Assessment
Each applicant (2 years old - 8th grade) is required to visit a class with the appropriate grade level teacher, at which time an assessment is made to determine to student’s probability of success in the class. Included in the visit is a teacher-designed exam in language arts and math, if applicable. Assessments vary typically from one to two days.

Step 4: The Acceptance
The Admissions office schedules a follow-up meeting to discuss the results of the visit and assessment with the parents. The balance of the registration fees, tuition plan as well as the enrollment contract are due at this time.
